Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 8 SR4
Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit

Dear all,
I'm having problems with the execution of Labview scrips and commands and was wondering how to fix them:

1) I noticed that the calculation of the script is incorrect, if I run it from the command line using the run command (referring to the ogs file). When I paste and copy it into the script window it works fine.

2) I'm using the limit command in my script. After renaming the workbook and adding another sheet, the command doesn't work anymore, even though I'm using the correct short name of the workbook.

3) I used to use this command to change the long name of my columns (e.g. col(11)[L]$="i")
Since one day it won't work. There is no error message but the label never changes.

If it's helpful I can post the entire script. However right now it feels more like a software error to me.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi Penn,

Thanks for your answer!
I reinstalled Origin 8 and now it seems to be working fine.
Not sure what happened.
In case it occurs again, I'll follow up with you.

Hi,

1) I have tried the run command, such as by "run d:\test.ogs" in Command Window, and it is fine.

2) You have mentioned the adding another sheet. Please note that when you add another sheet, then this added sheet will be activated, so, please check whether you want to use the limit command on this newly added sheet, or the original one. That may be the reason.

3) The command example works fine in my computer. Not sure why yet.

So, better that you can post the entire LabTalk script here, and tell the details about how you meet the problems. If your script needs to be executed with your specified project file, please send your project file together with the script to us according to the instruction here. Please refer to this post in your email if you send the project file.
