Please help...
I want to merge four 3D graphs (XYZ) in one plot, thus showing 4 types of symbols in one graph. All 4 graphs are drown using the command Plot -> 3D XYZ -> 3D Scatter.
However, the result of merging (using command Merge Graph Windows) is only one type of symbol (from the last graph). Other 3 types are invisible.
Thanks. |

Before Origin 8.5, all front objects are opaque over the rear ones. To control the transparency, you need a more recent version.
Furthermore, "Merge Graph Windows" includes original graphs as multiple layers, and the front/rear relationship is completely regard to the layers' order rather than the data points' front/rear relationship based on the actual coordinates. If this is what you are aiming, you need to include the data points in a single layer (e.g., by using Layer Contents dialog). I suggest you to try the evaluation (demo) version of Origin 8.6 to see how the transparency control works for you. (http://www.originlab.com/index.aspx?go=Downloads/OriginEvaluation)
