How can I input the binary data with specific format that comes from my experiment? Every time I need use my program transform the data to ascii and then input it. Can I directly input it to the data sheet?

Thanks.

The way Laurie described dose not always work properly in Origin v.5. In that case I suggest to create your own dll whith Visual C and coll it from Origin.

If you have Origin Professional, you will then have script access for reading and writing any file so that your data can be brought directly into an Origin worksheet. It maps Windows and DOS file functions into LabTalk scripting commands.
