Posted - 09/17/2001 : 2:02:57 PM Several times I have lost changes to my OGS file while using the LabTalk Editor in OriginPro6.1. I am very careful about hitting the save icon especially every time before I run a script. The only thing I can think of is that I do not keep my script in the OriginPro directory. I have made subdirectories where I categorize my scripts. Any Ideas?? |

I experienced exactly the same thing a couple of times. One simply have to be careful saving scripts sometimes.
I couldn't figure out why it happened and therefore I am unable to reproduce it, but for sure the editor simply switches over to that temporary file from time to time.

Posted - 09/17/2001 : 3:06:21 PM Take a look at the file ..\Origin61\LabTalkEdtTemp.ogs - I've had the problem a few times and it seems that the Editor loses the save location and defaults to this filename. It should contain your latest changes.
