Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 9.0.0 64-bit b45
Operating System: Win 7 64bit

I'm trying to rename a window using a string variable, but I'm stuck.
Example:
str$ = "myTest";

win -r aaa str$; //this renames my Window to str

win -r aaa $(str$); //and this one leads to a window called A

Whats wrong here?

Old LabTalk commands can only accept string variables if they are substituted. The proper syntax is
str$ = "myTest";
win -r %H %(str$); //this renames the active window
