I'm trying to rename a window using a string variable, but I'm stuck. Example: str$ = "myTest";
win -r aaa str$; //this renames my Window to str
win -r aaa $(str$); //and this one leads to a window called A
Whats wrong here?

Posted - 01/17/2013 : 5:56:37 PM Old LabTalk commands can only accept string variables if they are substituted. The proper syntax is str$ = "myTest"; win -r %H %(str$); //this renames the active window
