Origin Ver. 8.5 and Service Release Sr.2 b98(Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: Win 7

Hi guys,

I am wondering whether it's possible to produce a short beep or some sound signal to indicate user about execution of some step in program.

I checked LabTalk and didn't find anything about sounds.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Konstantin

Ok, thanks greg!

I am not sure what was wrong but Win Beep was allowed in control panel settings. After trying how it works in control panel it started working in Origin.

thanks again!

Yes, I tried this and it didn't work... I don't understand why. Are there any settings to allow calling Windows beep?

Thanks!

Konstantin
