Origin Ver. 8.1SR3 Operating System: WIN7
How can i plot column "C" from Worksheet "ABC" in Workbook "Book1" ?
When "Book1" has got only "Sheet1", "layer -i Book1_C" does the job,
but how is the syntax with multiple worksheets in a workbook ?
layer -i [Book1]ABC_C doesn' work ... |

plotxy [Book1]"ABC"!(1,3);

I suggest you use plotxy to create plot from worksheet. For example, the script below is to create a scatter plot from column C of the first sheet of Book1
plotxy [Book1]1!(1, 3);
