Hi,

A recently made a post about plotting against date. I have another problem regarding the same script, the data also first needs to be sorted by date but each row includes 4 embeded graphs relating to that particular row. When I use the sort command, the data sorts no problem but the graphs do not move. I understand that they are embedded in those particular cells but is there any way I can get the graphs to move with the data?

Thanks again in advance,
Mulvenna

Unfortunately, your version has a bug that does not handle sorting of a worksheet with embedded graphs. This was fixed in 9.0.

You should either make sure you sort before embedding your graphs or you will have to write a program that
1. Remembers which graph is embedded on what Date row
2. Opens each graph (e.g. win -a Graph1;)
3. Deletes the embedded image (e.g. col(C)[5]$ = "";)
4. Sorts the worksheet
5. Restores all the embedded graphs (e.g. insertGraph gname:=Graph1 embed:=1 cell:=[Book1]Sheet1!3[6:6];)
