Origin Ver: 8.6.0
Operating System: Windows 7

Hi,

I am trying to add some code to my project that opens an excel file, adds one line of information, saves and finally closes again.

These are all no problem, I can open using the "doc -a" command, save using the "Save -i" command and close using "Win -c".

The problem is when Origin tries to open the file it asks every time if I want to enable or disable makros!! This script file is automated and will not always have a user operating Origin while it is running. This means that this message will stop the script until something is selected.

Is there any way to set a default choice or bypass this message all together?? Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Mulvenna

Just incase anyone else has the same problem, the message can be disabled in excel under the "trust centre" settings.

Thanks for the help.

The message is coming from Excel so it's something you should address in your Excel.
