I need to solve an equation that is a ratio of polynomials as part of a script for generating some fitting equations and I would like to do this with a bisection search in LabTalk . I see that the data selection tool uses a bisection search but I can't find any scripts for this. Would anyone have a suitable script that I could adapt to my needs?

On a more general note, is there any source of useful LabTalk scripts along the lines of "Numerical Recipes in C"?

Two sources of useful LabTalk scripts are the Origin Webring and the OriginLab Knowledge Base.
