Hello
I have a set of data and i want to find the best fitting function that correlates them(that with the least error). Can anyone suggest me a way to do that?(I think langrangian interpolation is a way but i cant find how it works on origin)Note:the curve fitting option options such as Gaussian is not sufficient. The data set is:1 2.1806
1 2.2159
1 2.5
1.1 3.8397
1.1323 3.9568
1.3169 4.0148
1.3169 4.0452
1.34 4.0722
1.36 4.1847
1.37 4.1864
1.4399 4.1397
1.53 4.1859
1.67 4.1866

Hello,

You mentioned that 'langrangian interpolation' which should be a kind of polynomial interpolation, and you also point out that a fitting is need, so why not try the Poly_n function in Analysis: Fitting: Nonlinear Fit: Polynomial Category, a 5 order polynomial could be tried first.
