Posted - 07/06/2015 : 04:31:32 AM Hi i`m completly new with LabTalk. But i`m experienced in programming.
I have two Columns. I want to search in the first for an specific value(x). Then i want to copy the Data of the two Columns between the founded cells(x) to 2 new Columns. But there is one extra thing: The Header is also included into the data(see Picture; The Header always starts with "Interval"). I thought the best way would be LabTalk. It is easy dor me to do it in some other Language but i have no idea about LabTalk. So it would be really nive if someone can support me with the LabTalk script. I`m sure i will learn more or at least faster from script then go through all of the tutorials.
Thank you very much!

Posted - 07/06/2015 : 05:16:37 AM Hello,
To solve the copy data to new column problem: please refer to this page, and try example 1: http://www.originlab.com/doc/X-Function/ref/wextract
Besides, You said that Header is also included into the data, Would you like to remove the Header when import .dat file into worksheet?
Best regards! Jason OriginLab Technical Service
