Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:

I am trying to import abf files from Clampex using the pClamp import option; however, I always get "invalid import data file" and I am not sure why. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Alex,

Could you please check your file at first:

1. Is is really a pCLAMP file?

2. For now, the latest Origin supported version is pClamp 10.6 (ABF 2.06). Was it saved by pClamp 10.6 (ABF 2.06) or older versions (pClamp 9 (ABF 1.8) and pClamp 10 (ABF 2.0))?

3. Can you import it successfully in Origin’s GUI? (File: Import: pCLAMP (ABF, DAT, AB?)…)

Thanks,
Yuki
