Posted - 10/28/2003 : 2:50:08 PM Hi there, I thought this would be a simple task but I couldn't find anything in the help and I'm tired of trial and error. I have a matrix active. If I type limit %C; (or %H which is obviously the same) limit.ymax= I get the maximum value. And now I wanted to normalize it %C=%C/limit.ymax But this doesn't work. However, when I type Matrix1=Matrix1/0.123 this works. But in a script what to do? Thanks, Tilman.

Posted - 10/28/2003 : 3:07:28 PM Hi Easwar, many thanks! Maybe you could add such an example in the next version of LabTalk Help? I couldn't find anything useful when I searched for 'normalize'. Then this really would be a helpful help file Tilman.

Just use %c/=limit.ymax or %h/=limit.ymax
