Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 2017
Operating System:7 64bit

Hi,
I have some calculations set as autoupdate, so result cols are locked.
For some reason, I would like to change some values in the result cols, while keeping the autoupdate status.

Problem is the cols are locked for editing (which makes perfect sense).
Is there any system variable, or command with which I could write in those cells ?

Thanks

Hi,

I am sorry that there is no way to unlock the range with a recalculate control.

Since we allows that the result are automatically updated when the input data changes, we’d better not allows to change the result, or we may confuse the updated result and the manipulated result at last.

In order to avoid the confusion, we do not support to unlock the range with a recalculate control.

Yuki

Too bad.
I had some hopes with OC (some kind of unlock method).

Hi,

I am afraid that we cannot do that. We can re-edit the range only by disconnecting it from its input data.

Yuki
