Operating System: WinXP Prof. SR2

Hi,

I tried to reuse a script that was fine in Origin 7 and with Origin 7.5 it fails. I found that the error comes from a numerical variable. Furthermore I found the following strange behaviour. If I write in the script window:
A=1;
A=;
Everything with ENTER/Return after each line the result is the following:
A=0
How can this be?
I don't have any answer to that. Please help me!

Steffen

I don't know why A would not be become 1, but one possibility would be somewhere along the line some script has turn A into a dataset.
Try list s and see if A is listed as one of the loose dataset.

Then

del A
