Hello all,

I am writing a Labtalk script which I later want to develop as an app. Would it be possible for me to encrypt the script so that the code is not open source to who ever install the origin app?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

This is currently not possible. To encrypt source code, you'd have to use OriginC for coding.

With Origin 2018, if you create OriginC *.C or *.CPP files, you can encrypt them "on the fly" when generating the App OPX.

Thanks,
