Operating System: dos (windows)

When I select a data point in a graph with the Data Reader and afterwards I want to use de index number of that point in a script asociated to an object which is run after the "button-up" option, the index number si reset to 1. How can I keep the index number of the selected data point?

Use the pointproc macro to save index under a new name and use that name in your button. For example,

def pointproc {pti=index}; // define pointproc macro
dotool 3; // open data selector tool

The macro executes when user selects a data point w/Enter or double-click. Index is saved as pti which can be used by your button scripts. In fact, you might find it easier to run those scripts directly from the macro and bypass the button. See this article for details...
