Hi,

Can I retrieve and set the bounds for peak fitting parameters in Labtalk?

For background, I need to batch fit some data (diffraction patterns), where each successive pattern is the evolution in time of some process. The signal is noisy, so I occasionally get incoherent fits. The idea is to fit one pattern (n) that's less prone to errors and then bound the fitting parameters of the next pattern (n+1) around the fitting parameters of n, then bound n+2 around n+1 etc.

I'm running OriginPro 2016 Sr2

Cheers!

Hi Yuki_Wu,

Thanks for your reply.
Actually I need to fit multiple (overlapping) peaks, so nlfit is not suitable. I normally run the Peak Analyser to fit multiple peaks, but using paMultiY I can't find info on how to get fit parameters (e.g. bounds) after each fit, or set parameters (e.g. bounds) before the next fit.
Any help appreciated!

Hi,

You could use nltree variable to control parameter values when you perform fitting by nlbegin X-Function. Please go through these pages for more info:

Yuki
