Hi,
I tried to initialise a string variable(D!Page.FirstPage.Mytext$) in a DialogBuilder-dialog with the below LabTalk-script: [OnInit] is executed when the dialog is loaded for the first time. At first a graph is created and attached, then I try to initialise the string variable D!Page.FirstPage.Mytext$ (an editable text field) with the string "111".

[OnInit]
D!graph.create(%xFS1.otp);
D!P.attach();
D!P.setref();
D!Page.FirstPage.Mytext$=$(111);

The problem is, that the text field is not initialized. If I change the order of the comands and start with the initializsation of the string variable, then the graph is not loaded.

Other commands like D!Page.FirstPage.Slider.show=0 work fine, independent of the order of execution.

What is the right procedure to initialise text- or number variables of a DialogBuilder dialog.

Thanks for any help

bye
Stefan
