Dear all,
I try to introduce a break in a 2d plot with following script.
...
%a!layer1.x.from=0;
%a!layer1.x.to=180;
%a!layer1.x.break.from = 15;
%a!layer1.x.break.to = 160;
...
The graphic is ok it draws from 0 to 180, but it gives a plot without any break. The command axis -b x with the break tab works fine.

Thank you, Mike.
That means one must manually work out a template .otp with axis break. Then use this axis.break.from property further in a script.

The programming guide entry for layer.axis.break says that a break must already exist before its properties are valid. In other words, layer1.x.break.from = 15 generates a command error unless an X axis break already exists in layer 1.
