Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5 sr6
Operating System:WinXP Pro SP2

Hi~

I am very new to this. I would like to write a script that will automatically place the mean and standard deviation of the row values across several columns, onto 2 separate columns in the worksheet (1 for mean, 1 for s.d.).
Manually, this is done by highlighting the columns and then Descriptive Stats>Stats on Row. In Origin 7.5, it does not allow me to specify destination columns, it only automatically generates a separate window/worksheet with the results, so I end up doing copy/paste.
I am making a worksheet template that will allow me to do this function automatically for several sets of columns once data have been imported into it.
Please help!

Thanks!

Ginny
