Hi all,

how can I assign automatically (now I use the Import Assistant) the shortnames and units of a file, that looks like this:

Hi,

You mentioned that you are using “the Import Assistant”. Do you mean the Import Wizard? The Import Wizard allows you to specify a row in the file. Then the information in the row will be recognized as the short names of the target worksheet. Also, variables from headers can be extracted.
