Hi,
i want to get the median for a column. I have about 500 Sheets and i am writing a Macro at the moment. I used this command:

col(13)[1] = stat.DS.median(col(9));

i want to write in the first line of col(13) the median of all data in col(9). Both colums exists in the worksheet!

thanks Fabian

You failed to fill in the version number so I am guessing from your question that you are using 7.5 or earlier. Too bad, because 8SR6 makes it as easy as your question suggests:
col(13)[1] = median(col(9));

Two extra lines are required in earlier versions:
STAT.DS.DATA$ = %(%H,9);
STAT.DS();
col(13)[1]=STAT.DS.MEDIAN;
