Operating System: XP

I have a loop which does many calculations based upon which iteration the loop is on. I am trying to write some code which would allow the loop to run but skip an iteration based upon user input.

Right now the iteration number is related to a variable with 0 being don't do the iteration and 1 being run the loop for that iteration. How would I set up the code to skip an iteration without completely breaking out of the loop.

Thanks
