  I want to open (not import) an Excel file as an Orgin workbook. The following works fine, it opens the "DataLog" worksheet of a given Excel file.
  	WorksheetPage		wpg;
  	BOOL	bOK = wpg.OpenExcel(strWorkbookPathname, "DataLog");
  The problem comes if the Excel workbook (which is on a remote machine) is already open. Then Excel pops a window saying the file is in use & asks if I want to open a read-only copy. I click yes in Excel, then I have to go back and run the Origin openexcel code again.
  Is there a way to indicate in the Origin call that I want to open Excel as read-only?

  The mode for opening Excel as Read-Only has not been implemented yet. Right now you can only click on the button in appeared prompt to open it as Origin book. I have reported your request to our problem tracking base with ID ORG-12053.
  Regards!
