Hello, all

I tried wsorting a worksheet with
(menu command "sort worksheet")

LT_execute("menu -e 36464");

but the function requires a selected column from the actual worksheet.

Is there a OriginC function available for sorting a worksheet?

Thanks Hajo

Hi Hajo,

1. You can sort a curve in OriginC...

Curve crv("Data1_A","Data1_B");
crv.Sort(NS_DESCENDING | NS_MISSING_AS_SMALLEST);

2. The LabTalk sort() function will sort a dataset in ascending order.

Data1_C = sort(Data1_B);

3. The LabTalk sort command and sort object both sort a worksheet against a dataset with a rather extensive set of options.
