Hello, all

As at our department a lot is done with Excel it would be nice to ,me to read in these excel files directly into origin and accessing its cells by OriginC code within my functions.

I couldn't figure out til now, how to access several cells or rows by OriginC from data read in as an Excel-Worksheet. The functions for Origin workbooks don't work.

The work arround til now is to read in the excel cells as Origin workbook or calling Excel as extern OLE server and accessing the cells by OLE commands. What I'm looking for is an interface like the one for build in workbooks that calls the excel things ...

Any hints?

Thanks
Hajo
