Hi Deepak,
quote:
Should I type @sc=1 in the script window every time I open origin?
Just add @sc=1; to Macros.cnf which runs at Origin startup.

Hi,
Thanks for the help and it did work. I work in Germany but my Operating System is a English Version (WIN XP Pro). But I still suspect that my sytem is not a complete "English system".I some times get some error messages in German .

So,Is your solution the only remedy to the problem?
Should I type @sc=1 in the script window every time I open origin?

Thanks,
Deepak Samuel.
Hi Deepak,

I gather from reading through some notes in our bug-tracking database that this was thought to be a problem only on some German language systems. That is why I asked about your operating system.

I think you can fix the problem by doing this:

1. Open the Script Window (Window:Script Window).
2. Type the following:

@sc=1

3. Press ENTER.

Let us know if this does not solve the problem for you. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Run Origin, select Help:About Origin and let us know which version number you have, please.

Also, what is your operating system? German or English?

Thanks.
