Can this program be used to display data from another program? May we use Origin C to call routines from our program and display data graphically?

Hello,

You can send data to Origin from other program by using Origin as an Automation (COM) Server, or using DDE.
To learn more about the Automation Server feature, please see:
http://www.originlab.com/index.aspx?s=8&lm=+168&pid=547
The demo/product has examples on sending data to Origin from Excel, VB, VC, LabVIEW etc.

Origin C can load and call functions from external DLLs. Further, dialogs built using our DialogBuilder technology, included with OriginPro, can contain other ActiveX elements and controls, to bring in data into Origin.

If you have more specific questions, please post again.
