HI

I am new to programming in Origin C. I did some in C already and found out that is not the same as in Origin. I would like to know if there is any manual or tutorial where I can find the basic definitions and orders. I need a good point to start from. Thnx for any help.

Greetings schlambi

Hi schlambi,

Tutorials is very good for starting learn Origin C. You can select Help -> Tutorials to open and choose programming Tutorials section.

Another way, select Help -> Programming to open the help file. It include many detailed programming related knowledge. In Origin C Language Reference -> Classes -> Internal Origin Objects -> Worksheet -> AddCol, can find Example. Copy the example code into one function in Code Builder. Like

void tt()
{
Worksheet wks("data1");
int colnum = wks.AddCol(); //Add a new column
colnum = wks.AddCol("Temp"); //Add a new column, called Temp
}

The purpose of codes is same as Column -> Add New Columns in Origin.
