Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): Version 7.5 SR4
Operating System: Windows NT versus Window Me

I have ORIGIN on my work computer and at home. I have a problem relating to programming Origin C. When trying to Compile and Link in NT, if there is an error compiling, I can click on my Output window to see which statement is giving me the error. (Double Clicking gives a brown mark next to statement causing the problem). But with my computer at home, using ME (Millenium Edition?), it doesn't show me the error at all. Nothing happens.

Is this a problem with Windows - ME in general?

Richard

This problem was trackered as problem 19 in item #6070.
As suspected it was caused by the parenthesis in the folder name. The problem has been corrected in version 7.5 SR 5.

Yes - this is exactly my problem, Frank. I had a parenthesis in one of my directories. When I deleted that, it went away.

How did you ever figure that out.

And thanks, Easwar. You and other at ORIGIN and elsewhere do a terrific job helping us, with all our problems.

Richard.

Hi Richard,

We have not been able to reproduce your problem on our ME machines. Please contact tech support directly to see if we could narrow down the problem to something specific on your ME machine.
