Does anyone know a way to do Origin C calculations with more digits than double precision allows? I believe double precision allows 15 digits of accuracy. But I want to perform calculations (for example differences between two numbers) with more than 15 figures of accuracy. For example, the difference between this two numbers may be occur in the 20th or 30th figure of accuracy.

Posted - 12/13/2004 : 2:40:05 PM Yes, I have done this with Mathematica. But, my version of Matematica is 3.0, and I cannot communicate between Origin and this (old) version of Mathematica. And I wanted to Origin in for some plots. I was hoping to be able to do this with ORIGIN C. But I think I can make other modifications-e.g., don't plot data points when I need more than 15 digits for the answer.
