Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5 SR5
Operating System: Win 2000

Hi,

Can anyone please let me know how to identify the user id with origin C? (We're hoping to monitor Origin usage and evaluate time spent with different customised applications.).

Thanks,

Cheers,

Pete

Hi Mike,

Thanks for quick response! Much appreciated.

The idea I have is for being able to estimate and log time users spend on our customised apps so I can focus efforts at rate limiting steps.

Cheers,

Pete

The USERNAME system variable might work...

char szUser[MAXFULLPATH];
if( GetEnvironmentVariable("USERNAME", szUser, MAXFULLPATH) )
{
out_str(szUser);
}
