I have a problem with adding a reference line to a set of data and calculating the area of a curve under it.

Imagige a study were 8 blood pressure values (72, 68, 64, 66, 76, 79, 76, 73) are measured every 10 minutes. I would then like to draw a graph of this over time and then ad a reference line with the blood pressure value 70. Then I would like to count the area under and over the graph and the reference line.

I would be very glad for some help.

Kind regards,

Markus, Helsinki, Finland

Hi Markus,

Do you mean each data curve will cross the reference line back and forth and you want to separately sum the area above the reference line and that below the reference line?

Perhaps posting an image of a sample data graph will be of help. You can click the 7th button from left (the one right before the # button) on the Format toolbar on the forum when editing a post, to upload an image and make it show on the thread.
