Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5
Operating System: Windows XP

Hi,

the thing I need to do is a little bit tricky :

I have an Excel Sheet containing my x and y values; it looks like
this
x y
1 5,6
2 3,2
3 2,1
4 -0,23
5 1,23
6 -1,56

I import the data with origin C and perform NLSF calculations.
The problem is that before the fit (or even during importing) I want
all negative values to be automatically be set to zero
so that the Origin worksheet looks like this

x y
1 5,6
2 3,2
3 2,1
4 0
5 1,23
6 0

Any idea? Thanks for your help!

Hauli

Hi Hauli,

Assuming the Y column is column 2 just enter the following command in the script window...

col(2) = col(2) < 0 ? 0 : col(2);
