There are special considerations when using XF (even via LabTalk) from a COM client program. The most important issue to consider is that after the COM client has launched a new instance of Origin, some delay is needed to wait for Origin C to finish startup compling before any XF or OC function can be used.

I have created an example to show how to do this with the new LabTalk command "sec -poc" introduced in SR4.
