Hello!

So far I am not an expert in using Origin, that is why I am asking for some support.

I have two workbooks (i and ii) from which I want to extract certain data in order to calculate a certain number in a third workbook (iii). In workbook (i) I calculated a certain value for wavelengths from 1nm to 2500nm, in the second one (ii) I have another value only for wavelengths from 360nm to 830nm.

To get my required result I need to calculate the sum of the products [(worksheet i colum B row 360 to 830) * (worksheet ii colum B row 1 to 471)], one can also say I need to calculate the integral from the products mentioned above.

How can I do that? Do I have to use the 'Before Formula Script' window?

Thanks for your help,

Suomi
