Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): Origin Pro 8 SR2, v8.0891
Operating System: Windows XP

I get the following 'error' output. It doesn't give me any problems, but because I'm suffering from a lot of crashes, I feel I need to investigate this first.

C:\Program Files\OriginLab\Origin8\OriginC\originlab\GRIDCONTROL.H(1253) :Origin C Function Runtime Error, COM: not an object

(I don't have this .H file by the way)

When I have a matrix in a contour plot, I use the Data Reader to read a value at a certain point, I get a number of these error messages in the output window.

Everything else works fine.

Anyone an idea what's wrong?

Hi JaapVerheggen,
It is a weird problem indeed. We couldn't reproduce the problem in our office computer. Would you please send us your project with the matrix and the contour plot to tech@originlab.com.

Thanks,
Shirley
