Origin 7.5 SR 5
Operating System: XP

Hi everybody,

I am just trying to learn some Origin C coding. I am almost done with what I needed to do, but there is one problem I just can't solve:

When I use the SetRange method for a DataPlot object, it just does not effect my plot at all. When I go into the "Plot Setup" window of Origin, it tells me that the range is set to "Auto", "Auto". In contrast, when I tell Origin C to tell me the range via the GetRange method, it reports the values I set by SetRange.

Can anyone help me here? Please?

Hello Penn,

thanks for your post. I got the impression that my installation might be corrupt, so i reinstalled Origin and updated to SR6, and now the problem is gone.

Thanks a lot!

Best, Naclador

(PS: The quotation from Homer Simpson is just a joke, refers to a famous US TV cartoon series.)

Hi H.Simpson,

I can not reproduce your issue with the example of this wiki page in Origin 7.5 SR6. Could you please show me your code? Or maybe you can upgrade to Origin 7.5 SR6 from this page and then try again.
