Hi,
The curves I am trying to fit need a function to solve a system of nonlinear equations. I wrote a matlab program for that purpose. Then I compiled the matlab function into a dll file and try to call the dll from Origin C. I started with a simple function y=a*x+b and try to figure out how to make it work. It seems that just include the dll in the origin folder didn't work. I am asking if anyone else has similar experience and know the trick. Thanks a lot.

You can refer to this online help. However, the opx mentioned in the online help is not available in Origin 7.5. If you are interested, please download a free demo version from this page to have a try.
Though the help is not for Origin 7.5, the principle about how to use a fitting function defined in external DLLs is almost the same. You can use the Advanced Fitting Tool (menu Analysis> Non-linear Curve Fit> Advanced Fitting Tool) to have a try after you have tried the example in the demo version of Origin 8.1.
