Alex-qwerty	Posted - 12/25/2010 : 03:21:28 AM Origin 8.1 SR3; WinXP SP3. In CodeBuilder in Debug mode I cannot check the value of static variables in Watch window. When I type the name "BlaBla" of static variable in Watch window then debugger answer is "Error: symbol "BlaBla" not found." Is there any possibilities to watch value of static variable? If I remove "static" keyword, then I can watch these variables, but this is the wrong way to solve my problem.

However, there is a workaround, you can use a reference to this static variable. For example: void test_static_var() { static int blabla = 3; int& temp = blabla; printf("blabla=%d\n", blabla); } Then you can see the static variable in Watch Window. Penn
