I am using Origin v8. Normally I work with built-in fit functions (exponential etc.)but this time I need to fit my data with function
y=A1 + A2/x-A3 but I don't know writing Origin C code. Please can anyone give a sample code for this function. And where I should copy-paste this code exactly. |

Posted - 02/01/2011 : 11:41:55 AM Hi,
You can watch this video: http://originlab.com/index.aspx?go=Products/Origin/DataAnalysis/CurveFitting/FittingFunctions&pid=1172
or this tutorial: http://wiki.originlab.com/~originla/howto/index.php?title=Tutorial:User_Defined_Fitting_Function_using_OC
The latest version 8.5 also has a Fitting Function Builder that guides you thru the process of creating your user-defined function. You can try our demo to test this functionality. Your function is simple so does not need to be Origin C based, it can be set to Expression or Equation.
