Hi.

I am trying to pot a dataset with time on the X-axis. The dataset is several days long and in 24h format. When the plot reaches midnight, it starts over at the left hand side of the plot. How do I get around this so 01:00 is to the right of 23:00 the previous day? I also have a date column.

Thanks.

Thomas

Hi Thomas,

Maybe you can do this by GUI.

I suppose that the date column and time column are column A and column B respectively. And the date column is with Date Format and Display format as "3/3/2011", the time column is with Time Format and Display format as "HH:mm".

Add a new column for combining column A and column B, here name it column C. Set column as Date Format and Display format as "3/3/2011 HH:mm".

To set the Format of a column, you can double click on the column header, and then you will get the Format drop-down list and Display drop-down list in the Properties tab. See here for more details.

Then highlight column C, and select Set Column Values from the right-click menu. Set values for column C by "col(a)+col(b)". Now, you can use the column C as X column to create graph.
