I recently upgraded from 2020 to 2020b. I tried to run one of my Excel Macros that automates Origin and Excel crashed.
After debugging I found that the line which crashed Excel was the second line below. These were the first lines in my macro that communicated with Origin.
Set wbk = app.WorksheetPages.Add Set Wks = wbk.Layers(0)
I then added the following line of code, and this fixed the issue.
Set wbk = app.WorksheetPages.Add LayerCount = wbk.Layers.Count Set Wks = wbk.Layers(0)
I tried to make an example VBA project to illustrate this, however when I did this, there was no problem. This is why I describe the bug as inconsistent.
I just thought I should mention this here in case my workaround helps anyone, and also to let the developers know about the issue. |
