Hello,
I'm new to LabVIEW and the GPIB interface. Recently, I was assigned to use an Agilent E4433B RF signal generator to generate waveforms created in MATLAB. I also received a NI GPIB-USB-HS controller for this task.

My initial setup went smoothly: I installed NI 488.2 runtime version 17.6 and the Keysight IO Libraries Suite version 18.1. The RF generator recognized the commands, and everything worked well with MATLAB. However, the next day, when I set up my PC and opened the channel, the RF generator remained in the remote state, and I couldn't get it to respond. Reinstalling the drivers didn’t help.

Following troubleshooting steps from NI, I installed the Measurement & Automation Explorer, but received an error: "This hardware is not genuine, Error code -37056." I found out that this error occurs with NI 488.2 drivers version 17.6 and above, and it has been reported by others using genuine hardware. Unfortunately, NI has made older drivers unavailable for download.

Since this equipment was purchased long before I started studying, I can't verify its authenticity, only assume it is genuine. Now, I’m stuck, and it’s been almost two weeks without a solution. Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there a way to download older drivers without going through an NI Service Request?
