I think there are many other easy ways of using it remotely, for example you could use a remote control application or some sort of java session.

No such mechanism.

However, you can run Origin through COM server (Please read Origin Programming Guide) in background. Then in IE side, you need to implement a page that enter, submit data; trigger Origin to start, and get & display results after Origin finish calculation. There are many programming jobs (Web & Origin) to implement you requirement. Maybe you can contact us for details.
