Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): Origin7 Pro
Operating System: Windows 7, 64-bit

I have Origin 7, which isn't supposed to be compatible with Windows 7. However, when I initially upgraded to Windows 7, 32-bit - I was able to replace the outl60.dll according to the instructions below and Origin functionality was restored.

I recently had to replace my hard drive and I now have Windows 7, 64-bit. This 'patch' did not seem to work. Is there a difference between the 32-bit and 64-bit systems as far as Origin 7 compatibility? Is there anything else I can try?

Thanks!!

I also have an old version 7 which is runnning fine on Win7 64 bit, even if I didn't replace the outl60.dll.

Only trick I did was to run Origin in compatibility mode (winXP SP3)
