Hi,

Column A: Year
Column B: Month (text)
Column C: Temperature
Column D: Precipitation (rain)
Columns E to N:other values (numbers)
I want to do the following statistics and I don't know how:
Average temperature in January, February, .... , December (all years)
Median column H in Jan, feb, ..., dec (all years).
And other values, but always for the different months in all the years.

Any suggestion?

Thank you very much!

Hi Duff,

You can run the descriptive statistics for the column (Temperature) using a grouping variable(Month).

Highlight the column C, choose, "Statistics: Descriptive Stats: Stats on Columns" menu. In the tool's dialog, choose "Month" column for the Grouping Range (under Input Range> Range1>).

Does it work?
